THE TWO SIDES OF PERSONAL TRANSFORMATION
Remember the first time you heard or read about personal transformation? That moment when something inside you resonated so strongly, it felt like a deep “yes”?
Remember visualizing yourself as a better version of you—upgraded, empowered, peaceful, perhaps even magical? You saw yourself free from problems, rich in wisdom (and maybe also in cash), living a life that made your heart sing.
Remember your first meditation? Or the impact of a spiritual book, a powerful scripture, or the words of a philosopher who just “got it”?
At some point, you made a decision. Maybe you don’t even remember it clearly. A decision to go for “that.” To find the Holy Grail. To conquer the mountain of enlightenment. To love unconditionally. To free yourself from karma. To become real.
What you didn’t know back then is that such a decision plants the seed of creation in your being.
And that very moment, your core makes a silent quantum leap.
“Transformation” is just a label for the journey that follows—a journey where your being has already jumped, and now your mind, your body, your emotions, and your life are tasked with catching up.
For instance, when you decide to love unconditionally, your being moves there instantly. But your mind and emotions are still wired for conditional love. You decide to be wealthy? Great. But your nervous system still plays the scarcity playlist on loop.
Decisions are the Big Bang of all creation. Your being lives in the here and now—in now(-)here—in vertical, timeless reality. So, when you choose, it jumps. Instantly.
Magic? Yes.
You are the wizard.
But don’t expect to be in unconditional love while still sneaking into your partner’s phone to feed your jealousy. Or to live in wealth while clinging to behaviours rooted in fear and mediocrity.
And here’s a radical truth:
You can’t undo a true decision.
You can regret it, deny it, avoid it, or forget it—but you can’t un-decide.
Your being doesn’t regress to a previous state of evolution.
So far, so good. That’s the light side of personal transformation.
Now let’s look at the other side.
It’s the labour pains. The disturbance. The friction. The fear. The deep resistance.
If your being hadn’t jumped to a higher version of you, there wouldn’t be trouble. You’d stay in the familiar zone—repeating patterns, recycling emotions, calling it “safe.”
The ego imagines a version of transformation where we leap into bliss without effort. No sweat, no chaos, no change. Just instant Zen.
Letting go of this infantile fantasy is your first step into maturity.
Understand this:
Your being lives in vertical time (now), but your human system exists in linear time (cause and effect). So the parts of you bound to time—mind, body, life—need time to catch up.
Outer reality follows inner reality. That’s the law of synchronicity.
Truth is, transformation could complete itself beautifully…
If—yes, if—you didn’t resist.
Most trouble comes from resisting your own evolution.
Those who stop resisting smile more. They allow the magic of transformation to happen. The rest? They’re busy trying to maintain their material status quo while pretending nothing inside has shifted.
Which group are you in?
You’ve got a simple choice:
Pain or Flow.
Which will it be?
Now here’s the catch: Flow won’t look like what your ego pictures. Because your ego can only project from what it already knows—and that’s based on the past.
A future that’s just a repackaged past will keep you looping resistance—only on a shinier stage.
So maybe it’s time to let transformation transform you?
Get your hands out of the process.
Let something larger handle the upgrade.
Something that actually knows what it’s doing.
P.S. If you were so smart and knew exactly what needed to be done,
you wouldn’t need transformation.
And you probably wouldn’t be reading this blog. 😉
