How do I become a Consciousness Coach?
For those who wish to increase their awareness or who wish to become a professional Consciousness Coach themselves, Creative Consciousness offers a leading-edge coach training that has the highest level of ICF (International Coach Federation) accreditation as ACTP – accredited coach training program.
Your training journey starts with our foundation training Master 1 which carries within the core elements of Creative Consciousness and Consciousness Coaching. The Master 1 is a process of 4 days that takes you through a personal transformational process as we believe to become a coach you must first have done the necessary work yourself. Also, you will experience firsthand the power and possibilities that become available by working with consciousness.
After your Master 1, you choose to do your coaching journey in English or in Dutch. The rest of the journey consists of 3 modules of 4 days. In 2018 the coaching training will take place in collaboration with Creative Consciousness The Netherlands. Therefor the 3 modules will be given in Vaeshartelt, Maastricht.
After having completed the modules, you are ready to register for the coaching exam and you can start practising. Once you have completed all requirements needed for the preparation of your exam, you will be able to choose a date and go for both a written and an oral exam.

Your mentor coach will observe your sessions with real clients and provide in-depth feedback to support you in getting your coach competences to the next level. You will also engage in extensive peer coaching practice as well as self-study and integration of everything that you have learned. In this process you are also encouraged to work with real clients.
To enter the exam, you are required to give at least
- 8 sessions to paying clients
- 8 sessions to your peers
- Receive at least 8 sessions as a client
- Complete 6 observed coaching sessions
- 3 peer observed coaching sessions
Normally, the process of exam preparation itself takes at least 3 months – with an average time of 7 months – it can be a bit less or more, depending on your individual learning style, schedule, and pace. It is a 50 minutes test, containing multiple choice and open questions that cover theory, core notions of coaching, and key Consciousness Coaching® distinctions. If you successfully pass the written part, you are invited for the oral part, where you need to demonstrate your coaching skills in a coaching session scenario, with a role-playing client.
You will receive immediate feedback and, if you pass, will be awarded the Diploma in Professional Consciousness Coaching®.

We start every training on Thursday at 09.00am, and we complete the days between 06.00 and 07.00pm. The exam package is an extra option which is not included in the coach training program. If you successfully graduate the coaching exam, you can choose to register with the ICF as a professional coach who has completed an ICF ACTP coach training program.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”How long does a coaching training take in total?” css_animation=”none”]Depending on the training calendar, the available amount of seats in a training program and your own learning pace, a coaching training can take in between 6 and 12 months. When planning your training, do consider the necessary time in your agenda for practice sessions with your peers, observed coaching sessions and exam preparation. The Consciousness Coaching Training is ACTP certified. What are the advantages offered by this certification? ACTP means ‘Accredited Coach Training Program’. It’s a quality label granted by the ICF, the International Coaching Federation, which is one of the biggest professional organisations for coaches with more than 22.000 members worldwide. Our training program being ACTP certified means that it contains the code of ethics and the core competences for professional coaches as determined by the ICF. Therefor, the biggest advantage for you is that you will are engaging in a professional training conducted by the highest quality international standards in the domain of coaching. Getting your CC diploma also allows you to become a member of ICF and receive additional certifications with ICF.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Why is the Exam Package optional?” css_animation=”none”]Many participants choose to join this program due to its ACTP accreditation, which is the highest quality level a coach training program can get from ICF (International Coach Federation). However, not everyone who participates in this program wants to become a self employed, independent coach. This training program is useful for leaders, managers, HR managers, entrepreneurs, coordinators, social workers… or just anyone who wishes to improve their way of engaging with others. You will learn to communicate in such a way that both parties involved are uplifted, empowered and a little bit more enlightened.
Everything you wish to achieve in your personal and corporate life is impacted by the language you use to express yourself and the way in which you communicate. Coaching is a way of communicating that empowers both yourself ànd the other. Besides a communication and coach training, this program also has impact on a personal and transformational level.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”What is the content of the Exam Package?” css_animation=”none”]Similar to the process of getting your driver’s license, the coaching exam consists of of two parts: a written examen followed by an oral, live coaching exam of about 45 minutes.
And just like when you practise for your driver’s license, you start with getting familiar with coaching and building a portfolio that meets the ICF standards.
Summary:
- you practise coaching with your fellow student coaches: you coach each other.
- you coach ‘real’ clients.
- you receive feedback from your mentor coach on sessions with real clients.
- you take the written exam.
- you take the oral exam: a live coaching session observeved by an examinator.
- you keep a record of all your coaching session (portfolio).
- with your portfolio and your CC Diploma, you are able to register as an ACTP certified coach within the ICF (optional).

Training days 1, 2, and 3 are till around 19:00, Day 4 ends at 18:00 sharp.
At the start of each training module, you will receive a personal workbook (about 150 pages) with exercises, tools and practical support. All training days have their own specific dynamic, while at the same time, they are balanced. You will do exercises in small groups, in pairs and/or individually; reflection, lecturing, Q&A’s, coach education, coach training, coach tools, coach being… Of course there is sufficient time for lunch, tea & coffee breaks, and in the evening, we will serve a snack.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Where is the training offered?” css_animation=”none”]All training days of the Modules are taking place in the venue “SoulCe Centre” in Maastricht, the Netherlands, located in the beautiful nature of Buitenplaats Vaeshartelt.
